Student Life
Where Faith, Friendship, and Formation Come Together
Student life at Mt. Salus is about more than what happens in the classroom. It's the conversations in the hallway, the laughter at lunch, the weekly chapel services, and the moments when students discover their gifts and learn to use them for something bigger than themselves.
We've created a community where students are known, valued, and challenged to grow—not just academically, but spiritually and relationally.
Weekly Chapel
K3-6th Grade
Our youngest students gather each week to sing praises, hear God's Word, and explore the Big Story of the Bible together.
Chapel creates a foundation of worship and biblical literacy that shapes how students see themselves and the world.
Family Groups
7th-12th Grade
Middle and high school students meet weekly in gender-specific small groups led by faculty and staff. These gatherings provide a safe space for honest conversation, spiritual growth, and deeper relationships.
Family Groups are where students are known, encouraged, and mentored through the challenges and questions of adolescence.
Leadership & Service Opportunities
Student Ambassadors
Open to 7th–12th-grade students, this year-long program emphasizes servant leadership through regular gatherings, mentorship, and hands-on service projects.
Student Ambassadors also participate in our Kindergarten Buddy Program, where they mentor younger students and model Christ-like leadership in action.
National Honor Society
Rising 10th–12th-grade students who meet academic and service criteria are invited to join our chapter of the National Honor Society.
NHS recognizes students who exemplify scholarship, character, service, and leadership, and challenges them to continue growing in each area.
Service Projects
Students regularly participate in service opportunities that take their faith beyond the classroom and into the community.
Whether serving locally or supporting global missions, these experiences teach students what it means to love their neighbors and use their gifts to make a difference.
Clubs & Extracurriculars
