Congratulations to our girls’ and boys’ Jr. Varsity track teams who placed 2nd overall in the MAIS District 5A track meet last Monday at
University Christian.
The Varsity District 5A meet was held last Friday and the boys placed 3rd overall and the girls placed second. The varsity South State field event will be held Wednesday in Clinton, LA, at Silliman and the
South State varsity running event will be this Saturday at Presbyterian Christian in Hattiesburg.
Mt. Salus Christian School Track
Team participated in Madison Ridgeland Invitational Track Meet 4-9-10
Anna
Grace Govero placed 1st in JV 300and 100 meter hurdles and
1st in high jump.
Kamry Owens placed 1st in the Varsity 200 meter dash and
1st in the long jump and 2nd in the 100 meter dash.
Michaela Harper placed 1st in Varsity shot put and discus and
3rd in the 200 meter dash. Samuel Gearhart placed 1st in JV 1 mile
and 2 mile events for Div II.
Derikah Watts came in
2nd in the JV 200 meter dash. Morgan Hulitt placed 5th
in the 100 meter dash. JV girls
place 3rd overall.
Eleven teams competed in the
event.
Mt. Salus Christian School Varsity
and Junior Varsity Track teams competed with 7 schools in University
Christian School’s Invitational Track Meet on Friday, March 26
JV boys place 3rd overall and 3rd in the 2 mile
relay.
