CHRIST-CENTERED ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Mt. Salus Christian School is an independent, multi-denominational, multi-racial
Christian school (K-12 grade) that seeks to prepare young men and women
academically and spiritually to serve Jesus Christ in their career
choices and/or as students in institutions of advanced learning.
Faculty and Staff: Our
faculty and support staff are committed to providing a quality,
academic education from a Christian perspective. Not only do we wish to
challenge each student academically, but we alsowish to encourage the
growth of Christian character. With a ratio of one full-time faculty
member for every 16 students, our teachers are able to evaluate
accurately the abilities and needs of each student and to develop a
personal relationship with them. We believe this relationship is one of
the unique qualities of Mt. Salus that sets us apart from other
schools. Our staff desires to train the whole child – mind, body, and
spirit – so that the student may use Biblical principles in all aspects
of life.
Students: Mt. Salus
currently has over 360 students, 60% of whom come from Clinton. Of these
students approximately 70% are Caucasian, 20% are African-American and 10% are other
minorities. We affirm each child’s intrinsic worth and seek to nurture both their
individuality and sense of family and community in Christ. Mt. Salus does not discriminate regardless of
race, gender or national/ethnic origin.
Mt. Salus Christian School is a registered 501c(3) organization.
